Using Disciplined Agile

Objective: Agile is commonplace in most organisation's toolkits; however, a common complaint is that Agile development doesn't scale well. Many concepts and recommendations, like using small, self-managing teams, work well for small projects, but what about the organisation? Guidance may be lacking when coordinating multiple teams working on a large-scale project, especially in the early phases of the project.

Several agile frameworks are available for large-scale enterprise projects, but education is the first step in choosing one to fit your organisation's needs. This course focuses on Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) as a scaling model. It provides a quick overview, describes the strengths and weaknesses, and examines how to use the frameworks for scaling agile within the enterprise.

 

Who Should Attend: This course benefits those who have entered the world of Agile and Disciplined Agile Methods and are considering using them. It may help those with multiple years of management experience looking to embrace agile, continuous delivery. This course can be customised to reflect the experiences and levels of participants.
